Is there a way to do this training without a prong collar? I redirect and the dog just pulls in that direction. Every video I’ve seen with this technique works in the video. For me, nothing has worked when I do it.

And do you want the dog to salute you as well? Seems like a little bit of overkill. The damn dog doesn’t sit at the angle that you want, and you feel like you have to tighten that up? Why, to feed your ego? There are trainers, and then there are control freaks. Oh well, if the dog is not completely parallel with me when he stops and sits, then somehow he is not trained. What a bunch of bullshit. That’s like saying that when I drive a car and I’m not perfectly centered in my lane, then somehow I am not driving correctly.
