  1. My 3 months old puppy decided (last Saturday) that the best way to introduce himself to two adult amstaffs would have been to find a weak spot in their fence and get through. He did that and he is miraculously still alive.

But he was born in a farm with 8 adult dogs around and his 7 siblings before I got him, so I suppose he knows how to behave

  2. I inherited 2 small dogs, and they were brought up in the country with no other animals. but when I take them for a walk on the road and another dog is with its owner the one goes crazy barking and pulling to go after it. he is a patterdale terrier I am a senior and dont have the strength to hold him back,

  3. I have an Akita and shes difficult because shes not food motivated in situations which she needs training. shes very friendly but dominant and likes to playfully nip in other dogs faces but doesnt actually bite them. its a weird excited action which freaks other dogs out and has triggered other dogs before. so I have been using the fence method until she relaxes then bring her in and she has usually calmed down at that point and doesnt do that air nip.
