What was the verdict once it had fully expanded? I’m looking at buying one for my senior dog – she’s only 35 pounds, about the size of a Shiba Inu, but she’s a spinal implant dog too so decent support in the mattress but also the bolsters is really important. How sturdy are the bolsters on the sides once fully expanded? If your dog lay against them would they hold or collapse under the body weight? Great video – really helpful for me in my purchasing decision.
