  1. 3:53 love the ‘Thats a no for you, stop putting food on the counter’ comment.
Its been… a process, having cats with my bf. The cats love us both, but respect me way more, lol, and he has so many problems with them getting into the trash (throw food trash in a can they cant get to), or peeing on his dirty laundry (dirty laundry should go in the basket, not on the floor), and while they will do something unpolite to me every now and then, my method of ‘just clean up and theyll make less problems’ has genuinely been the biggest step to peace with the feline kind lol.

  2. I have a very narrow galley kitchen with a window at one end, and my cats were always on the counters. I tried everything else, but what worked was getting them a perch! The kitchen was too narrow for a cat tree, but I got a perch that attaches to the window and now they jump up there to watch and be involved with folks in the kitchen without getting into the food prep area. Also that window turned out to be a prime birdwatching and sunbeam laying spot, so they’re extra happy.
