  2. Hey, i got a question! My dog is an Austrian shepherd and he’s around 50 lbs. You can still somewhat feel his ribs and hes very active with no joint problems, he typically goes out twice a day (once for a walk in the morning and the second for a 30-60 minute walk+fetch with breaks) and gets 1 cup of kibble a day with fish oil, kefir, and pumpkin (all in moderation with consistent measurements for his size and weight) and he defecates twice a day with healthy stools. Is there anything i should add to this routine or take away? He’s lost about 8-10 lbs but i think I’m not seeing anymore progress so far and he’s still overweight.

  3. Shocked to hear a vet recommend once a day feeding considering the stomach acid in dogs produces much faster than humans and causes issues. Very shocked to hear someone say once a day feeding. Would be interested to read the papers backing you treating a dog’s G.I the same as a human’s.
