  1. It’s so interesting to me why when I’m in contact with one pet I started to itching, sneezing and crying but with another pet I’m totally fine. Same species but different results.

  2. Any parent of a child with pet allergies who insist on still having a pet in the house is abusing their child. Period.

  3. Any MD who says that you can live in a house with a pet that you’re allergic to and just keep them out of your bedroom shouldn’t have been able to graduate from med school. This is completely false… The dander gets into the vent systems and goes into every room of the home within days.. And the dander does not leave. It has a substance like superglue and sticks to the inside of your vent potentially and probably forever. Obviously most allergy doctors have never experienced an allergy themselves and they’re putting a child’s life at risk for breathing disorders if they’re telling the parents that it’s possible to have a pet in the house. The child will not thrive. I’ve seen it happen again and again. SELFISH parents to put their petty desire for a “pet baby” over the life and wellbeing of their ownchild. Shame on them.

  4. My partner absolutely loves pit bulls and I’m allergic to them; my arms and hands get itchy, eye are puffy, nose gets clogged along with constant sneezing, and I start to wheeze when I take a deep breath. Very sad because they are gorgeous animals😢

  5. I found out in my early20’s that I have an allergic reaction to cats and dogs. We always had dogs when I was a kid, and I was always ill… As soon as I moved into my own place and had no pets my symptoms vanished.. Over the last few years a cat has adopted me, I much as I love him he’s not allowed to stay in the house for long periods, just to eat and sleep for awhile during the day. However, my asthma like symptoms have gradually returned and I can only assume it’s because of the cat…. I would urge people with children to seriously consider not bringing pets into the house, it is my opinion that these allergies are common and children are the most at risk… The first thing a child wants to do with a kitten or puppy is pick it up, kiss it, pet it…. Please, do not fool with your childs health
