  1. My dog is a medium to high separation anxiety and I don’t have the luxury to stay at home. And train her because me and my husband both work, we got her during COVID. She’s 5 years old now, and she’s never been left alone. Except for we just started this in May, and it’s now September, and she only thinks she choose on is the door frame and scratches at the door she’s good looking out the window. We’ve tried calmly walking out. We tried giving her walks before we go. We’ve tried practicing when we’re off work. But our schedules don’t mesh, so the most we try to get to leave. Her alone is for a few hours with a sitter. From rover to come and take her out to pee. I’m just getting really frustrated because I don’t want her to hurt herself on the door and we live in an apartment. So my husband’s worried about that. But he has a problem with leaving calmly. He feels he must tell her to be good.Help me

  2. I got a dog for my dog and he stopped the separation anxiety. He just needed a companion at all times. He was a border collie and they need a companion because of how they were bred.

  3. It’s not because the dog is getting used to the human way of life. The humans come and go out of the house to do other things on their own, and the dog doesn’t, because it’s simply trapped in the home and can’t even open the door. That’s not how humans live. It’s just a trapped animal. Of course it doesn’t like it.
